What is the problem with Modern Ecumenism?
Ecumenism is meant to have unity with all people in the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church as God desires.
Modern Ecumenism seeks unity will other religions, and compromises our Catholic faith. Our faith is the one true religion reviewed to us by God. Modern Ecumenism presents our Catholic religion like any other religion as peers for the sake of peace and unity.
Jesus did not give us the Catholic faith to be equal with other false faiths. Jesus teaches us to evangelize the whole world and join the one true Church. This is the true unity and peace that God gives the world. Modernists do not believe in this, they instead seek the unity and peace of man. God the Trinity, Jesus, and Our lady is being set aside for this peace and unity of Man. This is why we see the Great Commission being abandoned and proselytizing being ridiculed by Modernists.
Modernism is about man's way - the new world religion - the religion of religions. This is why we must return to Catholic Tradition and its teachings.
